1. Introduction

Welcome to Window Max Cleaning ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website [windowmaxcleaning.com] (the "Site") and our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services or Site.

2. Services Provided

Window Max Cleaning provides a range of cleaning services, including:

  • Window Cleaning: Includes the removal of organic materials such as dirt, dust, and grime. This service covers general cleaning of window frames and sills but not the roofing above. Removal of inorganic substances like paint, silicone, or hard water stains requires a builders clean and may reveal underlying scratches or imperfections. We may ask you to sign a waiver form for any potential scratches or damage.

  • Builders Clean: The removal of paint, silicone, and hard water stains is considered a builders clean. This more intensive cleaning may reveal underlying scratches or imperfections on the glass surface due to etching. We will take reasonable care to minimize damage but are not responsible for any scratches or imperfections revealed.

  • Solar Panel Cleaning: We use only pure water with no soap to clean solar panels to avoid voiding manufacturer warranties. We are not responsible for any damages to the panels that were not caused by our cleaning process.

  • Gutter Cleaning: We use various methods including commercial-strength blowers, or manual cleaning. Gutter cleaning does not include cleaning, removal, repair, or replacement of roof parts, gutter guards, or downpipes.

3. Quotes and Acceptance

  • Quick Quotes: Initial quotes are estimates based on phone information, Google Maps, or street view assessments. These may not be entirely accurate. A final quote will be provided by the cleaners on-site if the initial quote is deemed invalid. All quotes are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

  • Acceptance: By accepting a quote, you agree to the terms outlined, including the specific services to be performed and the total cost.

4. Booking & Acceptance

Booking with us signifies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

5. Window Access

For internal window cleaning, please ensure easy access to windows is provided. Any delay or additional fees due to access issues are the customer’s responsibility. We are not liable for damage caused while accessing blockages. Ensure all windows and doors are closed. For some services, standing on the roof may be required; while we take care to avoid damage, we cannot be responsible for cracked tiles or other damage. For windows that cannot be removed internally, the service will still be chargeable. If we are unable to move items blocking access, we will contact you but still charge for the service as we cannot control this.

6. Time of Arrival

Our arrival times are estimated within a 1-2 hour window due to factors like job duration, traffic, and equipment issues. We provide an ETA within this window. We can perform the service without your presence if required.

7. Notifications

After each service, you will receive an automated email or SMS confirming completion and advising the next scheduled clean. Ensure we have your correct contact details.

8. Payments

  • Payment Terms: We accept cash, bank transfer, or PayID for residential cleans, payable on the day. An invoice can be provided upon request. Unpaid invoices after the due date may incur overdue fees. Standard payment terms are 24 hours after the invoice date.

9. Flyscreens, Security Screens, & Blinds

If flyscreens or security screens are not removable or block window access, the service will still be chargeable. We do not accept liability for damage to aged or ill-fitting screens or blinds. Remove blinds if concerned before work commences.

10. Weather

We clean windows in various weather conditions, provided it is safe to do so. Cancellations or postponements due to weather are not accepted.

11. Window Scraping, Treatment, & Builders Cleans

Removal of external debris like paint, varnish, or cement requires a builders clean at an additional cost. Removal of these substances may reveal scratches as they can be etched into the glass. We may ask you to sign a waiver form for any potential scratches or damage. We take all due care but are not liable for any marks left post-cleaning.

12. Window Tracks Cleaning

Our tracks cleaning service involves general dirt removal using a vacuum, brush, or microfiber wipe. For thorough cleaning, including scrubbing, an additional cost will apply. External-only cleans do not include track cleaning.

13. Window Cleaning

General window cleaning includes a clean of the window frames and sills at no additional charge but does not cover the roofing above.

14. Gutter Cleaning & Gutter Guards

We use various methods for gutter cleaning. If gutter guards are present, removal may add to the quote. Gutter cleaning excludes roof and channel cleaning and does not cover leaks or overflows post-cleaning. Some debris may remain post-cleaning, and roof valleys are included in all gutter cleans.

15. 48-Hour Assurance

Any issues or concerns with your clean must be reported within 48 hours. Complaints made after this period will not be considered due to the nature of the cleaning services.

16. Internal Cleaning

We take care during internal window cleaning but are not liable for damage to internal surroundings.
